






ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Mary Ibeh is a professional illustrator, artist and cartoonist who has worked in this creative medium for over 20 years.
Having attended the prestigious Wimbledon School of Art with a diploma in Fine Art, she graduated with a degree in Animation at the Solent Institute in Southampton.
She has illustrated numerous picture and YA books for authors both in the UK and the US, spreading her portfolio with illustrations and designs for various different projects and commissions, including mural paintings for businesses, logo designs, storyboarding for animation and character designs for book projects and products.
She currently works as a live cartoonist for celebratory events, such as weddings, birthday parties, Bar Mitzvahs, baby showers and corporate events.
As well as dabbling in creative writing and poetry, Mary loves to read science fiction and graphic novels, has a passion for film, is an avid aficionado of cardio exercise, likes long walks and is a believer of the faith.
Mary’s background, although born and bred in London, has Nigerian roots and is a product of her cultural heritage as well as her British upbringing.
She has always had a passion for art, creativity and storytelling. She has always followed her love through her work and profession as an artist.
“I’m always inspired by other artists and creative people. Frequently visiting exhibitions and galleries in the past, I would get so influenced by the amazing variety of art displayed.
Now, with the rise of social media and the online space, art and creativity are so accessible and literally at your fingertips. And the level of talent is astounding. I am truly inspired every day by what I discover.”
